about
In the summer of 2009 Scribbling Idiots decided to start SI monthly. For the next year we would release a project every month for $5. We did not want to throw together five random songs each month, but rather make each project have a concept with original artwork and all that.
I immediately began to brainstorm on what the significance of five was. In studying the Torah, I found inspiration, and then I heard a lecture that Ravi Zacharias had given explaining the Quintessence of life. Wonder and I decided to combine the two concepts and "Quintessential" was born. Jaq provided a beautiful soundscape for us to lay our vocals on. We hope you find it edifying.
Blessings,
